KIEN YU TEA is currently the largest EU certified organic tea producer and exporter in Taiwan. Founded in 1955 by Mr. Roxi Y. T. Lee, along with her subsidiaries – Grand Cathay Tea & Herbal and TAIUCIN TEA.
Kien Yu Tea is the number one member of the 135 years old Taiwan Tea Merchant Association and Taiwan Tea Exporters’ Association (TTMA & TTEA) both associations can be traced back to 1889, in the Ching Dynasty.
Our goal is to introduce Healthy, Delicious and Quality Taiwan tea to the world. Recently, we completed a 13-hectar of EU certified organic tea farms to form Special Group Production Region in the Pingling area of the Greater Wenshan Region in Northern Taiwan.
We also formed among our contracted farmers the ESG Sustainable Agricultural Co-Op in New Taipei City to encourage more organic and carbon reduction farming in order to preserve the near-by Jade Reservoir from pesticide and chemical fertilizer pollution and save the clean drinking water for the 6 million population relying on the water supply from the reservoir.
Main business for KIEN YU TEA & her subsidiary TAIUCIN TEA include, production of EU certified organic tea of wide ranges and to introduce to the world marvelous teas from Taiwan. Our product lines, covers from full
leaves, to brokens to teabag grades TBG to powder. Additionally, KIEN YU TEA also import from S. Africa, Crotia, Morocco, Germany…etc. wide range of herbals and tisanes, e.g. Rooibos, Chamomile flowers, Rose flowers/petals and wonderfully curated tisanes for our chained café or bottled tea and bubble tea & brand name customers.
